You see, my parents and I called to talk to them this evening and wish them a “Happy Thanksgiving.” While on the phone, my Grandpappy (or “great-grandfather”) began to tell us this story…
(Note: My Grandpappy is very talented musically…especially at the age of 93. He’s probably the reason why music beats through my own veins. Some of the instruments he can play include: Fiddle, banjo, guitar, mandolin, accordion, etc…)
One night just recently, he and our Great-Grandma Virginia had a jam session. (Yes, my great-grandparents have jam sessions. Pretty awesome.) She took up the keyboard and he picked up his accordion. (Yeah, my Grandpappy can rock the accordion at the age of 93. nbd.)
After rocking out for a while, the police came to their apartment to notify them of noise complaints from the neighbors.
Yeah. My great-grandparents received noise complaints…by playing their keyboard and accordion…in their nineties.
I love my great-grandparents.
